George Lavender on anti-Agenda 21:
=======
“I agree that Agenda 21 is insidious and dangerous. I am opposed to it, too. During the last session, parts of it were proposed as bills. I’m pretty sure we stopped all of them. A bill banning Agenda 21 and its elements would be far too broad to stop it, and would infringe on our freedoms. It is presented in so many forms, as you said ” …sustainable development, or smart growth”. One of the elements we stopped was called “Complete streets”. It all sounds good on the surface. When the government stopped funding ACORN, they just morphed into a different shell and carried on. Agenda 21 is like that.”
